Galina Ozgur

Galina Ozgur has over a decade of experience supporting founders in the very trenches of early stage development, as well as operational expertise building and managing trailblazing startup programs, – in New York and globally. Prior to joining H/L Ventures, Galina served as the GM of Grand Central Tech and is the creative power behind GCT’s startup residency program and its highly curated network of experts across Product, Design, Brand Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Culture, and Impact. Before her success at Grand Central Tech, Galina was the first employee and Program Manager with Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator where she funded and supported startup companies with mission-critical growth resources and strategic programming. Galina has also previously served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence with 500 Startups and a Scout with Aera VC (NZ/HK), a Seed fund investing in impact categories spanning the Future of Food Systems, Future of Health, Future of Climate and Carbon, and Future of Education and Work. Galina advises the World Bank and its entrepreneurship-focused programs on startup ecosystem building initiatives, is an active member of the professional organization uniting women in venture called Women in VC, and was recently recognized as one of the 40 under 40 Rising Stars in Venture by the Venture Capital Journal.
