Monika Kowalczyk

Monika Kowalczyk, MD PhD, currently serves as the VP of Platform Technologies at Deep Genomics since March 2025. Previously, Monika held various leadership roles in systems biology at Decibel Therapeutics from June 2019 to December 2023, including Head of Systems Biology and Director of Systems Biology. Monika was a founding core member of Celsius Therapeutics, a biotechnology company specializing in single-cell genomics, from January 2018 to June 2019. Monika's experience includes consulting for Third Rock Ventures and Deerfield Management, focusing on life sciences investments. Research contributions at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, along with publications in prominent journals, underscore extensive expertise in hematopoiesis and tumor immunology. Monika earned an MD, summa cum laude, from the Medical University of Lodz and a DPhil in Molecular Biology/Molecular Medicine from the University of Oxford. Additionally, Monika has completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
