Health Level Seven International
Thomas Reese is an experienced professional in biomedical informatics and pharmacy, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since July 2021. Reese has held various significant roles within the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA), including positions on the Editorial Board for the Journal of American Medical Informatics Association and Vice Chair of the Pharmacoinformatics Working Group. Additionally, Reese has contributed to the Clinical Decision Support Work Group at Health Level Seven International since September 2017. Previous experiences include a Fellowship at the National Cancer Institute and an Associate Researcher role at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Reese completed a PhD in Biomedical Informatics at the University of Utah and holds a PharmD from the University of Montana.
