Alexis Roig 阿雷西 serves as the Chief Executive Officer of SciTech DiploHub, a leading think-and-do tank focused on science diplomacy, since January 2018. Roig also holds the position of Barcelona's Chief Science & Tech Envoy, overseeing the city's science diplomacy strategy and chairing the Barcelona Ecosystem Board. In addition to these roles, Roig is an Associate Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the Barcelona Institute of International Studies. Roig contributes as an Associate Researcher at both CIDOB and the United Nations University (UNU-CRIS), while also serving as Commissioner for International Affairs for the Barcelona Metropolitan Strategic Plan and as a Board Member of the Space and Aerospace Commission at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce. Furthermore, Roig is a member of the Board of Advisors for Digital Future Society and an investor at Itnig Fund. Academic qualifications include advanced degrees from institutions such as Esade, IESE Business School, and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
