Kate Rands

Kate Rands has extensive work experience in various roles across different industries. Kate currently works at HLK as a Senior Data Engineer since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Daugherty Business Solutions from May 2021 to February 2022.

Kate also has experience at HLK, where they held the positions of Senior Developer from March 2020 to May 2021 and Backend Developer from May 2017 to March 2020. Before that, they worked at OneSpace.com as a Software Engineer I from September 2015 to May 2017.

Kate started their career as a student at Claim Academy in the .NET Cohort from April 2015 to July 2015. Kate also worked at Starbucks as a Starbucks Barista from November 2014 to April 2015.

Additionally, they have experience in the creative industry, having worked as a Boom Operator/Sound Technician at Glimmermen Productions from 2013 to 2014, and as a Sound Designer/Sound Operator at ThereIsBear! Theatre from 2013 to 2014.

Furthermore, Kate worked at Opera Theatre of St. Louis as an Orchestra Crew Member from May 2012 to June 2013, and as a Communication Intern for the College of Public Health and Social Justice at Saint Louis University from September 2012 to May 2013. In their intern role, they were involved in website design, content creation, and promotional material writing.

Kate Rands completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs at Saint Louis University from 2009 to 2013. Kate then pursued further education at the University of Galway from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production.
