Matt Godwin

Matt Godwin is an accomplished interior designer and studio director with extensive experience in the architectural and design sectors. Currently serving as Associate Studio Director and Project Leader at HLW since June 2019, Matt previously held the position of Associate Director and Studio Head at Harmsen Tilney Shane, where leadership was provided to maintain high design standards. Prior to that, Matt led interior design projects at Pellings, managing schemes valued up to £8.5 million, while also contributing significantly to projects at S&P Architects with budgets of up to £60 million. Early career experiences include temporary roles during travel in Asia and Australia, an investor services role at Georgeson Shareholder, and foundational work at Pythagoras Design. Educational background includes a BA (Hons) in Interior Design from Leeds Arts University and participation in an Erasmus exchange programme at Academie St. Joost Breda.
