Sean Cannon

Sean Cannon currently serves as the Fiscal Event Policy, Coordination and Briefing Lead at HM Revenue & Customs since September 2023. Prior to this role, Sean was a Policy Advisor at HM Treasury from April 2021 to September 2023. Sean's earlier experience includes positions at Worldpanel by Kantar, where roles evolved from Client Executive to Business Development Graduate from March 2018 to April 2021. Sean gained initial experience in public relations as an Assistant Account Executive at W Communications in 2017. An educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Oxford and a Master’s Degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from UCL. Sean has also held coaching roles in rowing, demonstrating leadership and teamwork skills.
