Brittany Sams

Brittany Sams, MHP, is a Senior Architectural Historian at HMB Professional Engineers, LLC since March 2025, with a comprehensive background in historic preservation. Prior roles include Architectural Historian at Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. and Project Architectural Historian at Wood, along with experience as a Preservation Specialist at The Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation. Brittany served as Program Specialist and Village Interpreter at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill and has held various internship positions focused on historic preservation. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Historic Preservation and Conservation from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Studio Art from Asbury University, complemented by a study abroad program at the University of Oxford.
