Arto Toppi

Arto Toppi has over 15 years of experience in software integration, delivery, and management. Arto currently works at HMD Global as the Senior Software Platform Manager, responsible for leading the SW Experience and Architecture team and ensuring that Nokia Android devices meet customer expectations globally. Arto also serves as a Privacy Champion on the company's global Data Protection Board. Prior to this, Arto worked at FIH Mobile Limited as the Manager of SW Integration & Delivery, where they defined the organization's SW integration and delivery processes and managed a team responsible for the customization and delivery of Nokia Android and Feature phones. Arto also implemented Jenkins-based continuous integration systems and SCM environments. Before joining FIH Mobile, Arto was a Principal Engineer at Rocrok, a start-up company focused on healthcare devices. Arto developed software, implemented SCM and CI processes, and set up test automation systems. Arto has also worked at Microsoft and Nokia in various SW integration and management roles.

Arto Toppi completed their education at the Oulu University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a BEng degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications in 2005. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications in Chinese proficiency. Arto passed the Chinese proficiency test - HSK (Level 1) in October 2014 and the Chinese proficiency test - HSK (Level 2) in May 2016, both administered by Hanban.
