Gernette Wright

Gernette Wright holds multiple certifications, including CISSP, CIPM, CISM, CCISO, and CCRO, and currently serves as the IT Security Officer for the Americas at Schneider Electric since March 2022. Gernette is responsible for maintaining the enterprise-wide information security risk and privacy program, incident response, and monitoring initiatives to mitigate information security risks. Additional roles include advisory positions on the HMG Strategy Advisory Board and as a member of the CISO Governing Body at Evanta, a Gartner Company. Previous experience includes serving as VP, Information Security Officer at The Village Bank, Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure & Security Operations at CIRCOR International, and leadership roles at Dentsply Sirona, Talbots, Inc., and Brown Rudnick LLP. Gernette's educational background includes an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems from Stockton University, and a Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity from Endicott College.
