For over 17 years, Zeferino has designed and managed a wide variety of projects throughout the Bay Area including hillside subdivisions, infill residential, commercial/retail, research and development facilities, mixed-use and master planned communities, educational/ institutional developments, car dealerships, landfill/disposal facilities, medical campus expansions, single family attached and detached home developments, religious building campus expansions and municipal stadiums. Zeferino is also involved with the entitlement process of projects, providing preliminary engineering and storm water treatment concepts serving as a liaison between the client/design team and the public agencies. He currently leads a civil engineering design team and provides direct management of complex projects and oversees HMH’s storm water treatment design and review services.

Zeferino is also an active board member of the Central YMCA of Silicon Valley that offers health and wellness programs for youth and their families through onsite programs and he participates in non-profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and organizes collections for Second Harvest Food Bank and Toys for Tots.
