Brian Tomlinson

Brian Tomlinson has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. Brian has worked as a Principal at Avatar Strategic Partners since 1998, providing CFO leadership and guidance to organizations seeking sustainable growth. Brian served as the Chief Financial Officer at HMI Performance Incentives since 2020, overseeing incentive marketing programs. Brian also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at CRN International from 2012 to 2019, managing financial systems implementation and outsourcing arrangements. Additionally, they served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at Rasky Partners from 2014 to 2018, where they implemented financial reporting and played a key role in partnership equity transactions. Brian was also the Chief Financial Officer at Modernista! from 2000 to 2011, overseeing financial operations of the advertising agency. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Consultant at Pile and Company, Vice President of Finance at WearGuard, Vice President of Finance at Digitas, and Controller at Plymouth Rock Assurance. Brian started their career as a Senior Financial Analyst at Honeywell.

Brian Tomlinson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Minnesota in 1981. Brian later pursued an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Bentley College - Elkin B. McCallum Graduate School of Business, completing it in 1990.
