Ron Vang

Outreach & Community Engagement Specialist/MNSure Navigator at HAP

Ron Vang has worked in a variety of roles since 1995. Ron began their career as a Software Engineer at IVI Publishing, where they wrote setup scripts for Windows 3.x and 95 program installation and maintained a CD cutter. In 1996, they moved to Computing Devices International as a Software Engineer, where they designed, coded, and unit tested software and integrated and system tested in an Object Oriented development environment. In 1997, they began working as a Software Engineer at McKesson HBOC, Inc. where they performed software development activities on Healthcare Scheduling Software. In 2000, they began working as a DBA Programmer at Health Partners, where they supported Sales departments' information processing needs with appropriate analysis and application of technology. In 2007, they became the Owner of MW Fashion World. In 2008, they began working as a Freelance Consultant, providing consultation to the community in the areas of computer, careers, marriage, culture and stocks. Finally, in 2012, they began working as an Outreach & Community Engagement Specialist/MNSure Navigator at Hmong American Partnership.

Ron Vang has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
