Ian Tracy

Ian Tracy is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the field of embedded communication technologies and IoT solutions. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager for the Americas Services Team at HMS Networks since October 2020, Ian has demonstrated leadership capabilities in previous roles, including IoT Solutions Architect at Laird Connectivity and Senior Field Application Engineer at HMS Networks. Ian began their career at HMS Inc. as an Applications Engineer and gained foundational experience as an Engineering Intern at Ixxat Inc., where technical support and protocol testing were key responsibilities. Prior military service as a Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Defense Specialist in the US Army provided Ian with skills in operational readiness, equipment management, and security protocols. Ian holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of New Hampshire, achieving honors in the undergraduate program.
