Dan Frere has over 30 years of experience in project and factory management across various companies, including HNI Corporation, Allsteel Inc., The HON Company, and Bandag Inc. Currently serving as a Project Manager at HNI Corporation since 2009, Dan focuses on cost savings and waste reduction initiatives aimed at achieving world-class landfill waste management. Previous roles include Factory Manager at The HON Company, where responsibilities encompassed production, safety, quality, and cost management, and Administrative Manager at Bandag Inc., overseeing accounting, purchasing, human resources, and safety. Dan's career began at Oscar Mayer / Kraft Foods as a Production Unit Manager, managing multiple facets of production operations. Dan holds an MBA in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Operations from St. Ambrose University and a BA in Biology from Augustana University.
