Alex MacAvoy

Head of Customer Operations at Hnry

Alex MacAvoy has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Starting in 2002, they worked at Bodyworks as a Marketing Manager and later became the General Manager. From 2006 to 2009, they served as the Sales and Marketing Manager at GSB Supplycorp. In 2009, they joined esdesign as an Office Manager and stayed with the company until 2019. During this time, they also worked at OptiFleet as an Operations Manager from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, they joined CoGo • Connecting Good as an Operations Administrator before transitioning to their most recent role as the Finance Manager at Hnry in 2019. In 2022, they were promoted to Head of Customer Operations at Hnry.

From 1996 to 2000, Alex MacAvoy attended Victoria University of Wellington and earned a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration and a Bachelor of Tourism and Services Management. During their time there, they focused on studying Marketing and Management.
