Mihai Rotaru has worked in the customer operations, technical support, and insurance industries since 2015. In 2021, they began working as a Customer Operations Manager for Trafi, a Lithuanian Mobility-as-as-service start-up, where they helped set up and rollout the support and operations department for a new business-to-business corporate mobility product in Switzerland. Mihai was also responsible for managing the support operations for the core Trafi for City business. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Technical Support Team Manager for Bazaarvoice, where they coached, mentored, and guided a group of 20 team members. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Digital Operations Insurance P&C Team Lead for Cognizant, where they were responsible for understanding client needs and concerns, driving close collaboration, and supporting ongoing migrations. From 2015 to 2017, they worked for EXL in various roles, including Process Improvement & Quality Assurance Team Manager, Quality Analyst, Subject Matter Expert, and Credit Control Lead.

Mihai Rotaru obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Universitatea “Babeș-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca in Business Administration and Management, General between 2011 and 2014. Mihai then completed an Erasmus Exchange at Ulm University in Wirtschaftswissenschaften between 2012 and 2013. In 2014, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from Universitatea “Babeș-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca in International Business. In December 2016, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from TQMI.
