Marijana Kustića has been the president of the Croatian Football Association since July 29, 2021.
Kustić's career has been related to football from the very beginning - as a footballer he successfully played for NK Novalja in the 2nd and 3rd Croatian Football League, and after his playing career he was the director of the same club.
He continued to develop his football official career at the regional and then national level. He is the president of the Lika-Senj County Football Association, as well as the Inter-County Football Committee of the Rijeka Football Center. In 2014, the HNS Assembly elected him a member of the HNS Executive Board, and then vice-president of the Alliance.
Since January 2018, he has been the HNS Director of Competition and Infrastructure, and during his tenure he successfully completed the largest HNS infrastructure project in history - the reconstruction of five lawns at the first league stadiums in Pula, Koprivnica, Zaprešić and Zagreb (Kranjčevićeva and Maksimir) .
Since April 2019, Kustić has held the position of Executive Director of the HNS. After his appointment to the position of Executive Director, Kustić left his position in the 9th convocation of the Croatian Parliament, where his term began in June 2017.
On July 29, 2021, at the election session of the HNS Assembly, Kustić was unanimously elected the new president of the Croatian Football Association, after his candidacy was supported by all county football associations.
Kustić completed his undergraduate professional study of Finance and Law at the Effectus High School and obtained the professional title of Professional Bachelor of Economics.
Marijan Kustić is the holder of the Order of Danica of Croatia with the figure of Franjo Bučar presented to him by the President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović for his contribution to the exceptional success of the Croatian national football team at the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
