Bill Jones

Bill Jones, P.E., currently serves as Senior Project Manager at HNTB since May 2023, following a tenure as Chief Executive Officer and Senior Project Manager at Jorgensen Associates, Inc. from April 2020 to May 2023. Previously, Bill held the role of Associate Vice President at HNTB from May 2018 to April 2020, where responsibilities included leadership in West Florida's business strategy and project delivery across various engineering disciplines. Bill's extensive experience with the Florida Department of Transportation includes positions such as District Seven Director of Transportation Development and District Construction Engineer from December 2013 to August 2018. Bill's engineering career began at FDOT in various roles, including Operations Center Engineer and PD&E Manager, and was preceded by military service in the US Navy as a Nuclear Electrician-Load Dispatcher. Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida between 1998 and 2002.
