Christina Byrne is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public outreach and community relations within the transportation industry. Currently serving as the Director of Industry Relations and Strategic Engagement at HNTB since September 2024, Christina focuses on developing and sustaining client relationships while supporting community outreach initiatives. Previously, Christina worked for the Orange County Transportation Authority from May 2002 to August 2024 in various leadership roles, including Public Outreach Department Manager and Section Manager for Capital Projects Outreach, overseeing public involvement programs and leading a team in proactive community engagement for large infrastructure projects. Christina’s career began with the County of Orange, managing significant public outreach programs and serving as a liaison to the community. Christina holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Chapman University.
