Juan Carlos Arteaga

Juan Carlos Arteaga serves as Vice President and Senior Project Director for Architecture at HNTB since August 2015, where Juan Carlos is the Architect of Record for a significant new project. Additionally, Juan Carlos holds a position as an Adjunct Professor in the College of Engineering, Construction Management at Florida International University since April 2004. Prior roles include Deputy Director at Miami Dade Water & Sewer, overseeing Capital Improvements and Regulatory Compliance, and Director of the $3.1 billion North Terminal Development Program at Miami Dade County Aviation Department. Previous experience includes serving as President of A&A Architect, Inc. Juan Carlos's education includes a PhD in Architecture from the University of Virginia, a Master in Urban Planning, and a Master in Urban Design from Universidad Autónoma Gabriel René Moreno, along with a postgraduate degree in Golf Course Design from Harvard University.
