Mark Lester, PE, PMP, Assoc. DBIA, is the Associate Vice President of the Carolinas District at HNTB. With 24 years of experience as a state employee dedicated to South Carolina's transportation needs, Mark transitioned to the private sector in 2015 to assist transportation owners in navigating challenges with limited resources. They previously held various roles at the South Carolina Department of Transportation, including Acting Deputy Secretary for Intermodal Planning and Upstate Regional Production Engineer. Mark earned a degree from Clemson University between 1987 and 1991.
