Burak Ozgur M.D.

Burak Ozgur MD is an accomplished neurosurgeon with extensive experience in spine surgery and medical leadership. Currently serving as the Director of the Hoag Spine Center and Section Chief of Neurosurgery at Hoag Hospital since January 2012, Burak also founded and served as CEO of ONE Brain & Spine Center from March 2013 to October 2023. Previously, Burak held the position of Chief of Minimally-Invasive Spine Surgery in the Neurosurgery Department at Cedars-Sinai from July 2007 to April 2010 and completed a neurosurgery residency at UC San Diego Health System from June 1999 to July 2006. Burak earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Vermont between 1995 and 1999, following a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC Irvine from 1991 to 1994.
