Carmella Cassetta

Carmella Cassetta is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO), IT Operations. In this role, she is responsible for all IT functions that support clinical and business operations for Hoag hospitals and clinics. This includes oversight of the Electronic Health Record (EHR), IT operations, data centers, strategy, governance, technical support services and all clinical and business software and hardware platforms.

Ms. Cassetta joined the Hoag family in 2014 as Director of Technology, advancing to the CIO role in 2019. Ms. Cassetta has over 30 years’ experience in Information Technology roles in multiple industries and organizations including Ingram Micro, Barnes and Noble Retail and Online, and Corinthian Colleges.

Ms. Cassetta graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. She also received certification in Information Technology from New York University School of Continuing Education. In 2008, she was recognized with CIO Magazine’s "CIO 100 Innovation Award.”
