Cheryl Gates

Cheryl Gates currently serves as the Executive Director of Hoag Specialty Clinic at Hoag Health System since March 2024. With extensive experience in healthcare administration, Cheryl held the position of Executive Director of Clinical Department Administration at City of Hope from March 2018 to March 2024. Previous roles include Director of Primary Care Network Development at UC Irvine Health, Chief Administrative Officer at both the Doheny Eye Institute and the Department of Ophthalmology at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, and Executive Director at Monarch Healthcare. Cheryl's early career featured roles in healthcare consulting at KPMG and The Permanente Medical Group, following a managerial position at Drexel University College of Medicine. Cheryl holds a Master of Public Health from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Design from the same institution.
