Regina Sy-Santos

Regina Sy-Santos, RN, BSN, CIC, currently serves as the Program Manager for Outpatient Infection Prevention at Hoag Health System since November 2019, overseeing the Outpatient Infection Prevention/Control Program in outpatient clinics and acting as a resource and educator. With extensive experience in infection control, Regina held positions such as Infection Preventionist and leadership roles within the Association for Professionals in Infection Control (APIC), including Past President and President of the Orange County Chapter. Previous roles include Infection Prevention RN Specialist at Providence St. Joseph Health and Corporate Manager of Infection Control at Prime Healthcare. Regina has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing from California State University, Northridge.
