Tom Gallagher

Tom Gallagher is a seasoned mechanical engineer currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Hoare Lea since January 2024. Previously, Tom worked at Buro Happold as a Mechanical Engineer from June 2022 to January 2024, and held multiple positions at the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) from August 2021 to January 2024, including Committee Member - North Region and Emerging Professionals Regional Lead. Tom began a career at Atkins in September 2019, where roles included Sustainability and Carbon Consultant and Graduate Mechanical Engineer until June 2022. Prior experience also includes a tenure as a Product Evaluation Engineer at Vauxhall Motors Ltd from July 2016 to July 2017, where Tom collaborated with retail personnel and workshop technicians. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Engineering from The University of Manchester (2018-2019) and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from Northumbria University (2014-2018).
