Marco Oud

Marco Oud is an experienced international service engineer currently working at Hobré Instruments since September 2022, specializing in the testing, repair, and maintenance of analyzer systems, including ED-XRF and gas chromatographs. In addition to this role, Marco Oud has been a wellbore placement consultant at Downhole Focus since January 2021, providing directional surveying and analysis expertise for oil, gas, and geothermal projects. Previous positions include offshore operator and electrotechnical maintenance at Marine Sampling Holland B.V., senior survey specialist with Gyrodata focusing on advanced wellbore surveying, and lead technician at Van der Laan Zwaag B.V. with a focus on high-end communication networks. Marco Oud began a career in electronics and telecommunications education at Horizon College, complemented by earlier training in various technical roles, including an apprenticeship with the Royal Dutch Navy.
