Kathleen Kemp

Kathleen Kemp has an extensive career in music education and performance, serving as Associate Professor of Orchestra Studies and Assistant Professor of Cello at the Eastman School of Music since 1977. In addition, Kathleen has been a cello instructor at the Hochstein School of Music & Dance since 1980 and has performed as a musician with the Rochester Philharmonic since September 1977. Additionally, Kathleen holds the position of Assistant Principal Cello in the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, which has been held since 1977. Kathleen earned both a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music from the Eastman School of Music, where studies took place from 1970 to 1977.
