Katrina A. Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Katrina A. began their career in 1999 as an International Flight Attendant at American Airlines, where they worked at JFK International Airport until 2002. After this, they served as the Project Director for the GEAR UP Grant at Little Priest Tribal College from 2002 to 2006. Katrina A. then joined Sioux City Community Schools as a Homeless Liaison from 2006 to 2011. Following this, Katrina took on the role of a full-time mom at Barnes Family Home from 2012 to 2014. Currently, they are working as a Corporate Operations, Project Specialist at Ho-Chunk, Inc. starting from September 2014.
Katrina A. Barnes obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English and Writing from Briar Cliff University. Katrina A. attended from 1992 to 1997. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2003 to 2005.
