Hockey Canada is the national governing body for grassroots hockey in this country. The organization works in conjunction with the 13 provincial branches, the Canadian Hockey League and a number of associate member organizations in growing the game at all levels. Hockey Canada oversees the management of programs in Canada from entry-level to high performance teams and competitions, including world championships and the Olympic Winter Games. Hockey Canada is also Canada’s voice within the International Ice Hockey Federation. Hockey Canada has offices in Calgary and Ottawa, and operates regional centres in Western Canada, Ontario and Quebec. ********* Hockey Canada est l’organisation nationale régissant le hockey local partout au pays. L’organisation travaille en collaboration avec les 13 divisions provinciales, la Ligue canadienne de hockey et plusieurs organisations membres associées pour la croissance du jeu à tous les niveaux. Hockey Canada supervise la gestion des programmes au Canada, du niveau débutant aux équipes et aux compétitions de la haute performance, incluant les championnats mondiaux et les Jeux olympiques d’hiver. Hockey Canada est aussi la porte-parole du Canada au sein de la Fédération internationale de hockey sur glace. Hockey Canada a des bureaux à Calgary et Ottawa et elle exploite des centres régionaux dans l’Ouest canadien, en Ontario et au Québec.
