Luke Pierce

Luke Pierce is a seasoned hockey coach with extensive experience in various management roles within the sport. Currently serving as Head Coach for the Edmonton Oil Kings since July 2018, Luke also holds the position of Vice President and Chairman of the Board at Hockey Gives Blood. Previous coaching roles include Assistant Coach for Hockey Canada's Men's National Para Hockey Team and Head Coach for the Kootenay Ice Hockey Club. Luke's expertise extends beyond coaching to operational management, having worked as General Manager and Head Coach for the Merritt Centennials, overseeing logistics, budgeting, player recruiting, and media relations. Luke Pierce holds an M.B.A. in Strategic Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Royal Military College of Canada.
