Interim Head Of Development - Robotics at Hocoma

Jan Veneman is a Technical Project Manager for Lower Extremity at Hocoma and a Teacher for the Master Course in Rehabilitation Robotics at Management Center Innsbruck. Veneman has served as an Editorial Board Member for Global Transitions at KeAi Publishing and has been involved with the ISO International Organization for Standardization as a National Representative in Standardization Working Groups related to medical robotics since January 2012. Previous roles include Topic Group Leader for Wearable Robotics at euRobotics aisbl and Action Chair for a COST Networking Action on Wearable Robots. Veneman has also held positions in academia, including teaching Biomechanics at Universidad del País Vasco and serving as a Senior Researcher and Project Manager at TECNALIA Research & Innovation. Education includes a doctorate in Biomechatronics and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Philosophy of Science, Technology, and Society from the University of Twente, where Veneman also completed undergraduate studies.
