Matthew B. Liponis

Matt Liponis, Esq. is an attorney currently practicing at Hodgson Russ LLP since January 2024. Prior to this role, Matt worked as an associate at Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP from September 2020 to October 2023 and served as a New York State Excelsior Service Fellow at NYSERDA from September 2018 to September 2020. During law school at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, Matt acted as the primary student attorney in complex environmental litigation at the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic and gained experience as a summer intern at the Westchester County District Attorney's Office and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Earlier professional experiences include roles as a research associate at G4 Investments LLC, an executive assistant at The Winthrop Estate, an intern at TEDxBerkshires, and philanthropy event coordinator for Circle of Health International. Matt holds a Juris Doctor in Environmental Law from Pace University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and Management with a Spanish double major from Dickinson College.
