Drazen Pavlov

Drazen Pavlov has extensive experience in the maritime industry, with a focus on engineering and technical leadership. Drazen began their career as an electrician on a ship in 1997. From there, they worked as a 3rd engineer for several companies between 2002 and 2006. In 2006, they joined Hoegh LNG Fleet Management AS as a Cargo System Engineer, where they gained experience with various technologies and systems. Drazen then worked as a 2nd Engineer/1st Assistant Engineer for Golar LNG and Hoegh LNG Fleet Management AS from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Seadrill Careers as an Assistant Technical Section Leader, and later became a Chief Engineer - Technical Section Leader TSL. Drazen joined Hoegh LNG in 2016, where they have served as a 2nd Engineer and is currently the Chief Engineer.

Drazen Pavlov has a diverse education history. Drazen attended the University of Split, Faculty of Maritime Studies, where they pursued a degree in Marine Engineer with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their university education, Drazen also attended Marine Engineering Highschool from 2000 to 2003 and Electrotechnical Highschool from 1911 to 1993.

Apart from their formal education, Drazen Pavlov has obtained several certifications related to their field. Drazen obtained the following certifications: Advanced Trimix Diver - hypoxic trimix from TDI in August 2015, CompEx - Electrical in September 2013, Hands on BOP from Lloyd's Register in July 2013, Kelvin TOPSET in July 2013, OPITO from SMTC in June 2013, Company Safety Management System (DNV) in February 2013, and Risk Management & Incident Investigation (DNV) in February 2013. Other certifications they have obtained include Wartsila W50DF operation advanced course, ABB ACS 6000/SD course (DNV), ABB ELE 32 Power distribution system, APL - STL/SRV from Oslo, Chief Engineer STCW III/2, Unlimited, CompEx - Mechanical, Hamworthy GCU Training (DNV), Hamworthy LNG Regasification System (DNV) from Asker, High voltage first aid course from Skien, Kongsberg Automaation Systems K-Chief 700/SVC 400 maintenance from Kongsberg, Kongsberg Automation Systems SVC400 Operator from Kongsberg, LICOS (DNV) from Trondheim, and LIQUIFIED GAS SPECIALISED/ADVANCED COURSE.
