Geir Lerhol has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2001, they worked in the Norwegian Armed Forces as a Soldier and subsequently as part of the ISAF and KFOR missions. In 2003, they became the Day Manager at Valdres Naturaktiviteter before joining Hafslund as a Security Consultant in 2005. From 2006 to 2009, Geir worked as a part-time Alcohol Control Officer for Oslo Kommune while pursuing their studies. In 2009, they joined the Police, where they served as a Police Officer and Investigator until 2014. Geir then transitioned to Avinor as a Senior Security Advisor from 2015 to 2016, and later as a Crisis Management Specialist from 2018 to 2023. Geir also worked at the Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning (DSB) as an Advisor from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Geir holds the position of Head of Security and Emergency Preparedness at Høegh LNG starting from 2023.
