German Castro

German Castro has a strong background in business development and management in the energy industry. German started their career as a Project Development Manager at Ecology and Environment, Inc in 1999. In 2007, they joined Port Dolphin Energy as a Vice President before being promoted to Managing Director in 2012. During this time, they gained experience in managing and leading teams.

In 2013, German Castro joined Høegh LNG as a Senior Business Development Manager. German was responsible for marketing FSRU services and successfully led the business development team to secure contracts in South American countries such as Colombia and Chile.

In 2022, they were promoted to Vice President of Business Development for the Americas & Caribbean Region at Høegh LNG. In this role, they continued to build relationships with potential customers, conceptualize solutions, and plan strategically for the company's success in the region.
