German Castro has a strong background in business development and management in the energy industry. German started their career as a Project Development Manager at Ecology and Environment, Inc in 1999. In 2007, they joined Port Dolphin Energy as a Vice President before being promoted to Managing Director in 2012. During this time, they gained experience in managing and leading teams.

In 2013, German Castro joined Høegh LNG as a Senior Business Development Manager. German was responsible for marketing FSRU services and successfully led the business development team to secure contracts in South American countries such as Colombia and Chile.
