Vegard Hellekleiv

Vegard Hellekleiv has over 20 years of work experience in the maritime industry. Vegard started their career at Det Norske Veritas as an Approval Engineer from 1996 to 1998. Vegard then joined Høegh Fleet Services in 1999 and worked as a Project Manager for Newbuilding until 2001. From 2001 to 2003, they served as a Technical Superintendent at Høegh Fleet Services. Vegard was later promoted to Vice President of Newbuilding from 2003 to 2004 and then became Senior Vice President from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, Vegard joined Höegh LNG as a Senior Vice President of Project Services, a role they held until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Senior Vice President of Regas at Höegh LNG. Vegard then became the Chief Technology Officer from 2013 to 2017 and is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Höegh LNG.

Vegard Hellekleiv obtained their Master's degree in Naval Architecture from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1990 and 1995.
