Partner at HOF Capital

Tala is a Partner at HOF Capital, where she focuses on FinTech, Industrial IoT and consumer technology investments. In addition, Tala provides strategic value to HOF’s partner entities, including portfolio companies, startups, governments, and other ecosystem participants in the MENA region.

Tala was most recently an investor for SoftBank Vision Fund, the world’s largest tech fund with nearly $100 billion of committed capital. Before that, she held roles in management consulting and financial services including Oliver Wyman and Monitor Group, and served as the Head of Government Strategy & Markets for Dow Chemical in Saudi Arabia.

Tala is a founding member of Saudi Arabia’s angel investment fund and currently serves on Saudi Arabia’s B20 (“Business”) Digitalization Task Force, which represents the global business community across all G20 member states. She is a strategic advisor to L Catterton Asia, the world’s premier PE firm focused on luxury and consumer brands and is a Board Member at Women In FinTech Bahrain. Her work and original writing has been featured in Financial Times, Forbes, Entrepreneur Magazine, and other widely-read publications.

Tala holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Harvard University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Women Studies from McGill University.
