Melissa Cherian is an experienced construction manager currently at Hoffman & Associates since January 2017. Prior to this role, Melissa served as a project manager at Bialek Environments and as a project lead/designer at Global Structures, LLC, where responsibilities included managing design-build projects in New York City with combined costs of approximately $20 million. Melissa's expertise extends to managing the structural design and construction phases, acting as the primary liaison between clients and project teams, and ensuring effective communication among architects, engineers, and developers. Earlier in the career, Melissa worked in various design roles, gaining foundational experience in architecture and design through positions at Scarpidis Design and EFS Global, as well as an internship at Five D Design Associates. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the New York Institute of Technology and a high school diploma from the International School of Bangalore, with a focus on art, math, and physics.
