Joseph W. Ricigliano

Joseph Ricigliano is a seasoned intellectual property attorney with extensive experience in biotech, biomedical, and chemical technologies. Since June 2021, Joseph has served as a partner at Hoffmann & Baron, LLP, focusing on complex intellectual property matters in both the US and international arenas. Prior to this, Joseph held senior counsel and attorney roles at Perkins Coie LLP spanning over a decade, and worked as an intellectual property attorney at Proskauer Rose LLP, specializing in biotech, pharmaceutical, and nanotech sectors. Joseph's legal career began after a significant tenure at Arnold and Porter, and earlier roles included examining high-tech patent applications at the USPTO and conducting research related to virology and biochemistry. Joseph holds a JD from American University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
