Clarissa Stewart

Clarissa Stewart is an experienced professional in international student enrollment and affairs, currently serving as the Senior Assistant Director of International Student Enrollment at Hofstra University since October 2017. In this role, Clarissa provides immigration services, advice, and develops programs for F and J international students while serving as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO). Prior to this position, Clarissa held the role of Assistant Director of International Student Affairs at Hofstra University, and worked as an Administrative Assistant at Middlebury College. Clarissa gained valuable experience as a Digital Learning Commons Graduate Assistant at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and served as an Assistant Language Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET). Clarissa holds a Master’s Degree in International Education Management from the Middlebury Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and East Asian Studies from Brandeis University.
