Comila Shahani-Denning is a seasoned academic and consultant with extensive experience in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Currently serving as Senior Vice-Provost for Academic Affairs and Professor of Psychology at Hofstra University since 1994, Shahani-Denning has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in Industrial Psychology, Research Methodology in Psychology, and Personnel Selection. Previously holding roles such as Interim Senior Vice-Provost, Director of the Industrial/Organizational Psychology MA Program, and Associate Professor, Shahani-Denning focuses on curriculum evaluation and program development. In addition to university roles, Shahani-Denning has operated as an Independent Consultant since 1992, advising various organizations on leadership development and performance evaluations. Furthermore, Shahani-Denning has taught as a Visiting Professor at Renmin University of China during summer sessions in 2014 and 2015. Educational credentials include a PhD and MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Rice University, complemented by a BA in Psychology from St. Xavier's College.
