Dr. Sharon Rose Phillips is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Since September 2012, Dr. Phillips has served as an Associate Professor and Program Director at Hofstra University, teaching in the Health Professions and Specialized Programs in Education Departments. Additionally, Dr. Phillips is the President and Founder of the Christopher and Susan Phillips Foundation and has held various roles in academia, including Student Teaching Coordinator at Teachers College, Columbia University, and Adjunct positions at multiple institutions such as Montclair State University and The University of Waikato. Dr. Phillips also has practical experience as a Rock Climbing Instructor at New Jersey Rock Gym. Educational credentials include a PhD and MPhil in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Teachers College, Columbia University, an MA in Educational Leadership and Administration from Kean University, and a BA in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Rowan University.
