Inga Blom

Inga Blom, PhD, is an accomplished academic and clinical psychologist with a diverse background in education and mental health services. Currently serving as an Instructor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and holding multiple roles at The New School, including Assistant Professor and Director of the Safran Center for Psychological Services, Inga Blom teaches courses in diagnostic assessment and developmental psychology. Additionally, Inga Blom is an Assistant Professor at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine and operates a private practice specializing in psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and assessment. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles at Lenox Hill Hospital, where responsibilities encompassed directing externship training and reproductive mental health services, as well as supervising a psychiatric unit.
