Kathleen Bakarich

Kathleen Bakarich, PhD, CPA, is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Director of the Executive MBA Program at Hofstra University, where responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting analytics, sustainability accounting, and government and not-for-profit accounting since 2016. Additionally, Kathleen serves as an ad hoc contractor for Wiley, contributing to educational materials and faculty webinars related to data analytics. As Treasurer for MindLeaps, a non-profit organization, Kathleen manages financial reporting and assists in global accounting issues. Previously, experience includes roles at The Bremen University of Applied Sciences as an Assistant Professor, Senior Associate at RSM US LLP, and Fulbright Scholar at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt. Kathleen holds a PhD in Accounting from Baruch College, an MBA, and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
