Wendy Young

Wendy Young currently serves as the Director for Major Gifts at Hofstra University since August 2023. Previously, Wendy held roles such as Director of Women's Philanthropy at the Jewish Federation of Columbus, where the focus was on community building for Jewish women in Central Ohio, and Leadership Giving Officer at Ohio Wesleyan University, aimed at securing philanthropic support within the tri-state area. Earlier experience includes managing distinguished events for the American Cancer Society, leading a cross-country fundraising bike ride for Hazon, and organizing events for Kaplan K-12 Learning Services. Additionally, Wendy contributed to fundraising efforts for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, coordinated marathon program fundraising for the Children's Tumor Foundation, and served as a Jewish Campus Service Corps Fellow at Hillel. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Sport Management from the Isenberg School of Management and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, complemented by study at the University of Sydney.
