Derrick Petit

Derrick Petit is a Senior Associate at Hogan Lovells, specializing in investigations related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the False Claims Act, and other significant regulatory frameworks since February 2021. Previously, Derrick served as a Pathfinder for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and gained judicial experience as a Federal Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Emmet G. Sullivan. Derrick's background also includes work as an Associate at Wiley Rein LLP, where involvement included White Collar Defense and various compliance matters, as well as serving as a Summer Law Clerk and Corporate Legal Intern. With a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law and multiple degrees from Louisiana State University, Derrick demonstrates a strong foundation in law and public administration.
