Barbara Maroli

Barbara Maroli currently serves as an Expert in Material Development at Höganäs AB, focusing on the development of metal alloys and ceramic powders for overlay welding and thermal spray processes, with an emphasis on metallographic analysis. Barbara's experience includes roles such as Senior Development Engineer in Surface Coating, where responsibilities included managing metal alloy development and supporting production improvements, and Manager of Metallographic Department, overseeing personnel, budget, and equipment while facilitating microstructure analysis. Prior to these roles, Barbara worked as a Development Engineer in both Powders for Pressing and Sintering and the Metallographic Department at Höganäs AB, contributing to alloy development, technical support, and the creation of a metallographic handbook.
