Lifang Chen

Louise Chen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of business development and technical support. Lifang (Louise) started their career at Höganäs China Co., Ltd in 2005 as a Technical Support Engineer, handling customer projects and providing technical assistance. Lifang (Louise) then became the Supervisor of the Metallography Lab, responsible for managing lab equipment and personnel, conducting technical investigations, and providing customer education in the field.

In 2009, Louise joined Höganäs AB as the Manager of the Asia Technical Support and Education Centre, where they had full responsibility for leading the center and managing a team of 20 employees. Lifang (Louise) was also responsible for providing technical service for the entire Asian market.

From 2014 to 2015, Louise served as the Manager of Business Development for Surface Coating, conducting market and sales analysis, as well as industry investigations. Lifang (Louise) then took on the role of Manager of Marketing and Development for Surface Coating from 2015 to 2018, where they managed the global development team, drove business growth, and led acquisition projects within the surface coating area.

Louise's most recent role at Höganäs AB was as the Integration Manager for Merge & Acquisition, from 2018 to 2019. In this position, they led the integration of H.C Starck surface technology and ceramics division into Höganäs, focusing on strategic planning and implementation. Lifang (Louise) then became the VP of Business Development for Surface & Joining Technologies in 2019, where they built and implemented business strategies, set up and drove business plans.

Lifang (Louise) Chen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Powder Metallurgy from Central South University in 2002. Lifang (Louise) then completed their Master of Science degree in Material Science from the same institution in 2005. Lifang (Louise)'seducation journey continued with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from Fudan University, which they completed in 2014.
